Welcome to Amarilla Divers

Amarilla Divers is a British family run, Professional PADI 5 Star Dive Resort based on the Aguamarina Golf Apartments in Golf Del Sur Tenerife. The dive resort is owned and run by husband & wife team Neil & Mary, who have been in Tenerife for 6 years and been in the diving profession for around 5 years.

Neil is currently a high level instructor & is a PADI IDC Staff instructor, whilst Mary is a PADI Specialty Instructor.

Both have experience of diving in different environments and are very experienced in the underwater world.

Amarilla Divers has a very good team of Dive Masters & Dive Master interns to help out in the center and only uses PADI affiliated professionals.

Being a family run dive centre means that we can offer a more personal service without the commercial feel. We have found that this works well and our customers appreciate this approach.

Amarilla Divers are able to offer differing levels of dive courses ranging from beginners to professional levels and even has specialised courses for children aged 8 & 9 years old.  We also offer different types of diving, like wreck diving, boat diving and the very popular night diving.

Training can start from half day courses, which gives you a 12 month Certification, to courses that last for 3 to 4 days and will allow you to dive anywhere in the world to a depth of 18 meters.

Our dive day normally starts at 9am, although earlier if needed,  we then complete two dives during the day and also Night Dives if requested.  We always make sure we have suitable surface intervals in between.

Some of our divers only join us for the one dive a day and this is perfectly OK with us.

Most of our diving is based round the shore areas of Tenerife. This is great for us, as it opens up more dive sites for us to use.  We don’t have the problem of not being able to get out of the harbour if the wind blows the wrong way! We do offer boat dives on request & this means we will meet at the dive center in the morning and then make our way to the Las Galletas harbour to meet our boat captain. 

We have many repeat customers who come back year on year and get very good reviews and feedback from our customers on our Facebook page and also on our guestbook page on our website.   We also have some regular resident divers who are like part of the family and live locally here in Golf Del Sur.
